Comida baiana levada para Sampa:

carurú, vatapé, moquecas,

acarajé e abarás!

Em 2000 conhecí uma pessoa muito doce e generosa.
Dia de muita chuva e frio,

que certamente trouxeram-me muita sorte.

A amizade nasceu aí, e foi neste caminho

que vi crescer o meu entusiasmo pela cerâmica,

minha paixão pelo trabalho árduo e fascinante da criação,

e principalmente porque com ela, a Mina, aprendi

a seriedade profissional, a ética, o gosto pelo barro,

a obstinação pelo trabalho,

além do encanto pela arte cerâmica japonesa,

seus costumes e seu povo.

Através da Mina, conhecí a Sossô, a Miki, e a Ivone, outro capítulo a parte.

Anos se passaram e muita história vivemos juntas.

Trabalho, filhos, familia, e mudanças...

E chegou Camila, especial!

Hoje a Mina desenvolve o trabalho mais lindo que conheço,

cheio de delicadeza e poesia.

Vejo os tecidos ganharem vida e história nas suas mãos.

E mesmo com a distância continuamos amigas!

Como seguidora do blog da Mina,

ontem fui surpreendida com a mais linda homenagem que poderia receber,

e o meu coração está repleto de alegria!

I have a good friend in a far place called Salvador (Bahia state)
and she is a lovely and kind person that I will always cherish .

The first time we met I still owned a pottery studio

and she came to learn about glazes and the first thing I offered her was a cup of tea!

She was absolutely polite and she drank the tea but then ,

later on she told me she hated any kind of tea, see?

What we do when we try to be gentle?

We drink things we hate, we try to be polite!!!

And since then we always laugh about this episode !

And this beautiful hanging doll

was made by my dear friend Carmen , isn´t it so darling?
